BUSINESS DESCRIPTION : “La Città dell’Animazione e dei Contenuti Digitali” is a no-profit association which aims at promoting and coordinating a network of public and private bodies, national and local authorities, businesses and professionals, contributing to the development of the animation industry and supporting small and medium enterprises in media and digital content, audiovisual and ICT.
The Association is now working on the start-up of an international centre for production, training and entertainment in animation and digital content which will be based in the Lazio Region.
“La Città dell’Animazione e dei Contenuti Digitali” realises I Castelli Animati Festival, Italy’s most important event in the sector (15th edition in 2010), and Romics (10th edition in 2010), comics, animation and games Festival (50.000 visitors every year).

In 2008 the society is acquired by Publispei and the new president is Mr. Carlo Andrea Bixio that beginning to the autonomous production of multimedia projects and innovative and original television series with different target and style.
The name Top Toon has been selected just to define the chief attention paid to the research in contents and technologies for animation projects in order to give a product reflecting originality and quality both on the technical and the artistic point of view.
