I was honoured and most pleased to participate in your FRAMES business and entertainment conference, Hollywood and Bollywood share the same inspiration: we make the magic of the movies. Movi-makers the world over face the same challenges and the same opportunities. It was a real pleasure for me to speak about those challenges and opportunities and to learn about the strength on the Indian movie industry. Thank you very much for inviting me to speak.

Amitabh Bachchan
Actor, BBC Star of the Millennium

FICCI FRAMES 2005 was an endorsement of the fact that the Indian entertainment industry is indeed on the threshold of its right place, as an industry, in the country. The organizational skills exhibited by FICCI in gathering world personalities from the business to look at and connect on the ever expanding film business in India speak volumes for the belief that FICCI has about the Indian film industry. My experience was one of admiration and awe. May this effort grow eventually to what we have always desired - that the Indian entertainment industry is going to be one of the leading industries in the years to come.

Barrie Osborne
Producer, Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Frames 05 was an excellent opportunity for me to meet and exchange ideas with a number of prominent Indian Actor, Directors and Producers. I look forward to working with many of these people in the future. The opening event was an impressive, forthright presentation of the progress, future and ongoing requirements of the Indian entertainment industry conducted in the spirit of FICCI'S founder, Mahatma Gandhi. I was glad to be there.

Rt Honorable Tessa Jowell
MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media & Sports

This wasn't the first time I've been to India, or indeed Frames. It goes without saying that India is a terrific place to do business and is being recognised on a global scale for its innovation and fast paced industry growth. It is always a pleasure to speak at Frames. The festival is highly regarded and attended by an impressive array of delegates from across the world. Theorganisation has always been exemplary and the welcome warm, it was just a shame I wasn't able to stay longer.

It was a fantastic experience talking to all the people from media & entertainment industry in India. FRAMES is a great experience and opportunity. Beside meeting people the expectation from my side was about the new and existing companies investing in India and what are the roles & strategies they plays for us.

Frames 2006 was a fantastic opportunity to meet some of the filmmakers who make the Indian film industry such a great success. I was extremely impressed by what I heard, the people I met and the studio facility I saw during my visit to Mumbai.

FICCI Frames is a good forum to discuss emerging media and spotlight India's role in this.

Subhash Chandra
Chairman, Essel Group Ltd

FICCI has been instrumental in acting as a catalyst in bringing much needed order and focus to the unstructured working of the Indian entertainment & media industry. The industry has been forecast to outperform the economic growth in each year till 2010 and I hope FICCI Frames can prove to be an ideal partner in this growth.

Philip Graf

I truly enjoyed FICCI-frames 2007. The event provides an excellent opportunity to network and build deeper relationships with key leaders and influencers from the Indian and Asian media and entertainment industry. I'm looking forward to the 2008 event.

VFX Specialist, USA

While India’s technical expertise is very strong, it is very weak in the creative leadership. This is specifically in the visual effects segment. It works wonderful when we provide back end creative support in Indian projects. In order to become a vibrant player in the VFX offshoring space, India needs to look at talent in this space. This is very crucial in the coming years. We need a lot of project leaders who are good at creative leadership and technology. Creativity is important an emotion. There is a lot of opportunity in the VFX space in India.

Lalit Modi
Vice President, BCCI & Chairman, Indian Premier League

While it does not surprise me, it is incredible to see how far FICCI Frames has come over the years since it first started.  I was honoured to be a part of such progressive event.
