The FICCI Entertainment Division works extensively with the entertainment industry, interfaces with the government, publishes studies and explores the various commercial nuances of this vibrant sector in order to streamline the business environment to the maximum. In the last eventful decade, the Indian entertainment industry has achieved many milestones. FICCI's efforts led to a change in government policy whereby the Indian film sector was granted "industry" status as well as the execution of some very significant tax concessions across states and progress in the 2nd phase of privatization of FM Radio. To provide a platform to the industry to ideate, network and form global linkages, FICCI has been organizing FRAMES, Asia's largest global convention on the business of entertainment for the past decade.
