FRAMES 2008 was excellent value for Canadian firms looking to partner, invest or attract investment from India. The organizers' targeted list of companies, the venue and the sessions all created an excellent networking environment with opportunities to promote strong collaboration and technology partnerships.

Participation as a "Partner Country" at FRAMES 2008 was an excellent choice for Switzerland to manifest the 60 Years Celebrations of the Indo-Swiss Friendship Treaty before a select audience of decision-makers in the Indian entertainment industry. It also gave us the perfect platform to interact with the Indian film industry, a sector in which India and Switzerland have a long tradition of close collaboration.

In its ninth year, FRAMES was an important event for anyone involved in
global entertainment, both for its abundant business opportunities as well as for its exciting atmosphere of creativity and community. For me to be there as a speaker was a pleasure and an honor, and I recommend marking the tenth anniversary of FRAMES in 2009 on your calendar now.

It’s my pleasure to be quoted as a huge fan of FICCI FRAMES. The 2008 experience for me (my second FF in a row) was wonderful. First I must admit to being something of an Indiaphile; I love your country, your people and your culture. Ficci Frames is unique in that it’s hosts have generously included a taste of these national attributes in the many entertainment segments of the event. It’s rare to find culture and business so seamlessly intertwined; but then that is the Indian way of doing things. As an advocate for thoughtful and responsible animated storytelling for kids, I find so much to learn and so much to share. On the business side as well I’ve made invaluable contacts and had the benefit of a comprehensive blueprint of how the Indian and pan-asian markets work. I intend to be a FICCI Fixture if you’ll have me and foresee more and more of the worlds leading producers getting FICCIFIED in the years to come.

FICCI FRAMES 08, allowed me to see and feel the excitement around the fast-growing Indian media & entertainment industries, including gaming, and mobile content.I also enjoyed the convivial environment of the event, where networking with the key players was quite easy and non-pretentious. I am sure this event will keep growing over the next few years.

FICCI-Frames is the one and only forum for the M&E industry leaders in India and across the world to meet, engage and exchange. It emphasises the preeminent position India is capturing on the global M&E scene. The question is not whether you should attend FICCI-Frames, but rather whether you can afford not to be present. An outstanding successful event.

While it does not surprise me, it is incredible to see how far FICCI Frames has come over the years since it first started. I was honoured to be a part of such progressive event.

"I have been a speaker at the News panel for a couple of years and I am overwhelmed to see the kind of passion the debate generates. It once again proves the fact that the news channels strike a far deeper emotional chord with the viewers than any other medium or genre".

FICCI Frames has always been an excellent forum each year, and Frames 2008 proved to be a very useful platform for executives from a wide variety of industries to pool thoughts together and focus on the Indian Media and Entertainment Industry.

FRAMES is an exciting creative cauldron where new ideas about the Media & Entertainment Industry from India and around the world collide and churn. As usual, I dipped into and thoroughly enjoyed a lot of what was on offer and, hopefully, gave back a little bit with my last-minute enlistment as a session moderator. I look forward to being back next year.
